Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We spent the weekend with my in-laws. It has been 7 years now that Bodi has come along and they are doing well with that. They do not, however, want his dog dish in the dishwasher with the human dishes (sigh) so I hand wash his dish and dry with a paper towel. I didn't realize that they had purchased these new paper towels with soap in them (they didn't know either). So when I dried Bodi's dish, I was leaving behind soap. His belly was not too happy, but he is fine now. Unfortunately we did this a few times before we realized what we were doing and Bodi stopped eating . . .
I will say that the Dawn paper towels are good for cleaning up doodle-puke on a white carpet, just not for drying dog dishes!

Maybe they need a new dishwasher that will clean all dishes. : )
Glad Bodie is ok.
:-}
Heck, I even feed the dog off of the human dishes.... I figure the dishwasher kills more germs than me hand washing. Although with unfamiliar house guests or parties, I make sure his dishes are clearly dog-only!
That's us exactly - Myla pre-cleans the dishes unless we have company that does not own dogs :)
I never heard of this so really appreciate the heads up! I would rather have my paper towels paper and add my own cleaner for wipe ups - like why would you want to leave soap on your counters etc when wiping up??? Next time - gross them out and dry with one of their precious human only dish towels! :-} Don't they realize dishwashers actually clean stuff????? Dumb invention if you ask me. After reading, Jennifer's answer, I see the use - but it must be a limited buying population. Could one simply wet the towel and add a bit of dish soap?
Sounds like dry wipes rather than paper TOWELS. I wonder what the bag looks like.
It looks like a roll of Bounty paper towels with a picture of soapsuds on the label. Oh, and the words "with DAWN", lol.
