Is Bruno more poodle or Retriver

Hi all!

We brought home our beautiful baby boy Bruno 2 weeks ago and he truly is the love of our lives. We purchased him from a breeder. But to me he looks more Retreiver then Poodle...Thoughts?

Bruno is a doll and I love the name you chose for him. He looks to have a wavy coat to me and if you keep the facial hair a little longer as he grows, he should very doodly! Congrats on your darling boy!

Melissa - He looks VERY much like a doodle and I fully believe he will have a full beard and look like a typical doodle. He looks just like my Casey as a wee one and Casey now looks like the typical doodle. His coat is wavy and he already has facial furnishings.

Bruno is a handsome pup, and like everyone else, I think he is VERY doodle-y. I can hardly see any retriever in him! He will definitely be wavy. He's a big boy too!

Definitely a doodle. If it really matters to you, you can have him tested, but what difference does it make? If the breeder says he is 50% poodle and 50% golden retriever, that is most like what he is. Enjoy.

BTW, I think doodles are the greatest dogs and goldendoodles are the best of the best.
