ALD's Coats

[Debbie, Brianna and Duncan]

What type of coat does your ALD have? How would you describe the coats type? Brianna is 'feather light' soft silky curl and Duncan is 'very thick' silky curl. They have quite a difference in the thickness of their coat and I love them both. But very different to brush out.

My Wally has a fleece coat which is soft but he sheds a bit and has a doggy odor when he needs a bath. Anybody else have this type of experience?

My 10 month ALD is very matted is it ok to shave int the winter? We live in MA very cold, especially today.

Have you tried Les Poochs brushes? My son has a GD and she has new mats every day. These brushes are the only ones that work on her coat.
