Oooo! Look at those bunny ears! Such a cutie. Thank you for your response!
Welcome to Doodle Kisses! Here are a few pictures of my English Cream Golden Doodle Skadi, growing up. Your puppy is adorable and I bet you will just LOVE all the stages they go through with their personalities and their coats. Take lots of pictures cause it goes fast! They change when you're not looking! HA! Enjoy enjoy enjoy. These are Skadi from 3 months to 5 1/2 years.
That's the coat we are hoping Stanley grows into, though we will love him no matter what :) Thanks for your response. I love seeing all the pics :)
your doodle is so adorable!! i have a mini GD he is 18 pounds might be smaller now that we cut his hair for the warmer weather. I would say he has the same coat. I really like the waves because I feel like it is easy to handle.
Does your doodle get a lot of matted hair when it is that length in the last picture?
Do you use any special shampoo or conditioner?
I would like my doodle to have long hair like that again but the I feel guilty when he gets matted under his arms or behind his ears.
Thank you. Surprising enough, Skadi mats very very little. I think she has only had one or two mats in her 5 1/2 years. She is an English Cream GD and maybe that might have something to do with the way her fur grows. I do comb her out maybe once a week if I'm lucky. So I am very fortunate with her fur. She was given to me by my grown kids who bought her and didn't have time or patience for a puppy. Best gift my kids have ever given me! You might recognize Skadi...She's this year's December photo in the GD calendar. And one other thing I love about this doodle is her glorious tail. I make sure she is groomed every 8 weeks. In between I bathe her only when absolutely necessary and I don't use any special products. I do give her pet cod liver oil for her coat. BTW, your little one is very very cute!
He looks like he will be a wavy doodle for sure! AND a cutie pie!
