I don't want to jinx things, but I feel like Zuzu's homecoming has been WAY too easy...

She sleeps all night in her crate (and did from the first night home), goes into her crate on her own during the day to nap and rest, has only had two tiny pee accidents in the six days she has been home, is quickly learning to come to her name and sit quietly for treats, and is just generally funny, cute, snuggly, and sweet. 

And the best part is these two are already becoming fast friends. Rooney is doing great with her and it has been interesting to see how this is helping him to mature as well. I've noticed he has gone from responding in some form to every little move of hers, to now calmly ignoring a lot of her antics and only reacting either in play or correction when he wants to or feels it is necessary. He suddenly seems so much more adult himself and is really an enormous help with the puppy.

And now I just have to figure out how I get anything done with these two cuties around!

OMGosh!  How do you get anything done?  So so cute!  Doodles are very smart, my Jesse (girl) was the same way when I brought her home.  Super easy puppy.  Good thing at my age.  But....she will be 2 in July and I am having a jumping issue when it comes to greeting dogs (on leash only) and people.  She wants to play and is 50lbs. so it is hard to hold her back.  This is her only issue soooooo it looks like I am hiring a personal trainer to stop this behaviour, then she will be perfect!  She is great at all her other commands.  She's a social butterfly like her pac leader, haha.

Enjoy your dogs as I know you will.  So fun!
