Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Thanks to everyone who weighed in on my previous post about how to describe to my groomer the shorter look I wanted to try for Rooney. My main intention was to shorten up his muzzle, making it less messy, but I did decide to go short on the ears as well.

I have to say, I love it. I know it isn't necessarily the standard doodle cut but I think it will be fun to have it be so low maintenance for awhile. And the great thing about doodles is give him a month or so and his shaggy face will be back!!

I definitely think I will keep this look at least through the summer when he will be doing so much swimming and general mucking about.

FYI: For anyone interested, my groomer said she basically gave him what she would consider a "puppy cut" on the face.

Adorable

Soooooo cute!  The ears just add to it!  I'm glad you got what you wanted.

LOVE it!  It is such a puppy look.  I think I might ask my groomer to do this on Ned.

Adorable!  I love it!

I love it- very cute!!!  I, too think that it looks "doodly."  I keep going a little shorter and shorter on the face with Winnie, too, as it so much easier to take care of. And, it's amazing how shortening the ears really makes them look younger! Even only it was that easy for humans, huh?!  :-)

That cut is so cute.   I love it.

Love this look! He is so cute!

Oh my he's cute!  Those bobbed ears are adorable!
