This is so cool! My daughter spent lots of time in the NICU and although, she was much younger than the boy pictured here, I think dogs make everything better!! They even the scale on every level...a dog just accepts everyone for who they are and these kids aren't "different" in the eyes of a dog. I think it is wonderful.

Thanks for sharing this Stella.  So terrific and it means so much to these children.

My son was visited by a therapy doodle in the PICU in VA!! He still has the bookmark he was given. We are now proud owners of a doodle!!

Getting into Children's Hospital here in Cincinnati takes a test more advanced than the regular Pet Partners or TDI testing.  You have to have an extremely patient, friendly and tolerant doodle to get in.  Sophie and I were working on it, but never got the opportunity to take the test.  Children's here in Cincinnati now has added an area to the hospital where the families can even bring in their own family dogs so the kids there can visit with their own dogs.  I thought that was pretty awesome.

That is the best idea ever!!! They must miss their own dogs even more after seeing a visiting therapy dog. I like this.

Aww...I love this.

Love this!  Thanks Stella.

Wonderful.  Dogs make everything better!
