Beard or no beard???

My goldendoodle is an f1 and doesn't have a beard. He is only 9 weeks. Will he grow one?

I can't see him clearly from your profile pic, can you post a larger picture of him?

He looks like he might have an "open" face (looking at the slightly bigger profile photo on your page).  If he does he will likely look like a black retriever and not as 'doodley' but I bet he's darling!  If you post a bigger photo here, we can give you a better assessment :-)

Jennifer ~ your photo is below.  It is easy to add when you start a discussion, just write up the discussion and then hit the image icon which is to the right of the LINK icon above the discussing box.  Your baby doodle is very cute, but I wonder if he will actually have a long beard.  He looks super soft and has a darling face.

The beard doesn't look too likely, but he's darling!
We have a group called "Where's the Poodle in My Doodle?" and you can look at photos of some doodles who are less poodley.
