Mass Drop

Have any of you heard of Massdrop.com? My brother introduced me to it last night, and since there is a photography part I thought I'd share it here in case any of you are interested.

The way it works is if you are interested in an item and it is expensive and you would like a better deal, you can suggest it to the site. They will contact the manufacturer and see what type price they can get if they guarantee so many sales. The manufacturer might come back with a price if say 200 people purchase and if 300 people purchase it would be dropped again. Regardless of when you purchase, you get the price for whatever the end price ends of being. So if you purchase at 200 and then 300 people end up purchasing you get a refund I guess. There are all sorts of categories, but I thought you guys might be interested in the photography piece.

If you are interested and don't mind shoot me a PM with your e-mail and I'll send you an invite. If I refer so many and they join then I get some sort of prize or discount. If you aren't comfortable with that you can just join, you don't have to be referred.
