Water Bowl Madness.. Puppy sinks her entire head in

Ok, so ever since Kai was a couple months old, she tends to do this thing with the water bowl:

When Kai was a couple weeks old, she drank water normally, but now that she's a tad bit older she drinks water like it's the last thing she's ever going to drink. We take her to my parents house to play with the other dogs in which they have a much bigger water bowl.. When she see's it, Kai will run towards it, and dunks her entire body. SO, we figured maybe she just really loves the water, so they bought her one of those kiddie pools from Walmart so she can get wet in (and she does).

BUT..She still has the tendency (if she goes to drink water),  dips 70% of her head obnoxiously to drink, and ends up getting the whole floor wet. 

Is this a puppy behavior thing or just her personality? I don’t mind it, but having to pull out the mop every time she wants water is getting a bit crazy, lol.

Precious!! My Gracie went through a stage where she loved to "dig" in her water bowl... We have a bowl with the bottle on top so she could dig for quite a while if we didn't catch her... I think she loved the bubbles that it made!!  Or maybe she loved splashing the water all over the kitchen floor!  Ha!  We still keep a dish towel under the bowl just in case.

Gladly, it's only a stage.. She does it with her small bowl, but more aggressively with bigger water bowls.

Not necessarily a stage!  My Springer was 12 when he died and he did it his whole life.  Our newest doodle is 3 1/2 and he still does it!
