Samantha's coat is like a fluffy, long haired Lab. She has never had a knot or a mat - I AM lucky!
Her ears are getting long but they are straight.
Are they too long? Is her beard too long?
Just don't know what to do? Trim or leave alone?

If she was mine, I would trim her ears a bit and also her beard. For me that is a cleanliness thing so they aren't dragging into stuff. The fact that you are asking the questions makes me think you feel you should trim. Samantha looks really cute and so I say it is up to you. Go back thru your pictures and find your favourite look and trim to that length. If you like her better now, wait a bit.
I just uploaded a better picture. I would appreciate your cheeckingit out again, I don't think I really want to trim her - she really doesn't get messy except when I give her broth with her dinner and I don't think a trim would help that. I just didn't want her to look like a dishrag. She really doesn't look like a Doodle - not like any that I have seen. Let me know what you think.
I think she looks great. If she were mine I do believe I'd leave her as is. Your's so lucky with that coat!
thanks - I know I am lucky!! We had a Bearded Collie and every day for 13 yewars I brushed her. It was worth it in the long run but boy, it was something neither one of us looked foward to every night.
