I feed my crew Acana Wild Prarie. It's the only food they all tolerate well. When we got our current batch from Chewy and opened a bag it was a slightly darker color and a little shiny. Did the recently change formula? It smelled the same. I don't have old bags to compare ingredients too.

I hope they haven't changed things. Tht food works great for my guys.

Thanks for any info.

There is a recent discussion in the food group about the Champion dog foods which includes Acana. I for one am not happy about the change. I think the Wild Prairie will be discontinued once the change takes place.

As I understand it, Acana is now producing it's kibble in the United States, instead of in Canada. With that move, they switched some of the ingredients to reflect what is available locally. This means slight modifications such as using one type of fish instead of another, and making some other tweaks to reflect local sourcing. The weight of each bag is also different, so the price per ounce isn't the same either.

Thanks. I posted in the discussion in the food group.
