July Assignment Water

Well, I made it under the deadline. How about water in all it's guises from one drop to the ocean. Doodles and water. Rain. Or anything at all. It is summer and we can be carefree. wishing everyone a happy Canada Day, Happy Independence Day and a lovely month.

I didn't desert you all, I just haven't been able to get on DK for the past few weeks. I finally messaged Adina today and asked WTD - did you block me ?? Thankfully the answer was NO...some sort of issue with the platform.  And now I'm fixed and I'm enjoying everyone's July photos.  I did go out the past few weeks and try to shoot a few water shots.  All of these revolve around the abstract of water vs. structure or solidity,  I guess.

A young girl, taking a break, sitting on the dock at sunset ...I liked the pattern the water made as a backdrop.

Here I found this rather ordinary  image of the goose mirrored the moving water...

And here at Horseshoe Cove, I was just shooting a landscape... but in editing I was able to bring up the pebbles hidden under the water and the change in color as the water winds its way under the footbridge.

I heard everyone was having problems. I wonder when the platform change will occur. I really like the young girl and the footbridge. The composition of the footbridge is great.

Thanks F! Adina (or Clark) sent me back a message saying Ning was having some kind of problems - it wasn't my internet or browser.  They were working to fix it.

Glad you are back, Cheryl.  I had a lot of trouble last week.  I could get the main page but when I clicked on any of the discussions I got a 500 error.  Same with trying to view a reply from an email.  I never know if it is DK or my internet connection.
