Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Mat prevention for Belle's overabundant, wavy/curly hair has been an ongoing struggle, despite attempts at bribery and distraction with treats and toys. The one decent brush out she had occurred while she was temporarily stunned by my effort to sing "How much is that doggy in the window." Once she got used to it, the wiggle-fest and attempts to eat the brush and comb resumed. And then I found out my groomer is moving from PA to NC. So I have decided to buy a small, used grooming table which has the arm, but no harness or loop. I looked on Amazon to buy one, but there are so many grooming restraints that I couldn't choose. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best strength, thickness and length for a grooming harness for a 14 pound mini labradoodle? Thanks for any advice.

I bought this grooming table on Pet Edge and it has been perfect. It is light enough that I can pick it up myself but sturdy enough that my 60 lb doodle (it supports up to 75 lbs) feels completely comfortable on it. I admit that I was surprised it was that sturdy and the price, which includes the arm/loop, was reasonable https://www.petedge.com/zpetedgemain/catalog/productDetail.jsf?area...
which size on that list did you get? I'm about to get one here too.
Attached the wrong link (sorry), here's the correct one (had to pull my orders up). Same PetEdge and manufacturer (I remembered I one with colors :)) We got the one below and it's $104.99. It's the perfect height for us, makes grooming very comfortable. Even holding up to 250 lbs, it's still light enough that I can pick up and move alone. If you want to take the arm off, it attaches very easily.
