September Asssignment Potential Calendar 2017 Photos

This is for photos you are thinking of submitting for the Calendar and that you would like to show us. If you want more detailed critiques and/or editing help I have started another discussion for that. I know there will be overlap and possibly a mish mash but we can handle that. Don't forget to check the guidelines.

I'm stating early because the calendar submissions need to be in by 9/22. seems like the submission period gets shorter every year.

Remember that vertical shots only go on the multiple doodles per page calendar. If you want a chance at a full page you need horizontal shots.

This is a cute shot but it requires lots of fixing. If you are sure it meets minimum calendar requirements post it in the other discussion.

This is a nice portrait. The dimensions may not fit DK guidelines so cl that. It's all clearly laid out by Adina. The full page photos must be 2300 by 1800 pixels.

There is a link to a site which tells you the pixels in an image in the new editing discussion I started. If there are enough pixels someone may help you crop it but Adina can crop a photo if she selects it.

UGH, guess I won't be able to enter.  I have no clue what a pixel is and don't know how to tell how many it has or how to change it.  Sigh!

Take the best quality pictures you can, preferably in the horizontal orientation, and submit if you find good shots. What do you have to lose, not to quote any candidates. Overtime you can learn more about photography if you want to.

If you have a computer, out can right click on the photo and that will tell you the size and pixel information

You can't do that directly on an iPad or that sort of thing. But on a regular computer you click on the second icon from the left. On top of the reply box, and follow the directions.
