Let Sleeping Dogs Lie?

Do any of your doodles sleep like this?  Myla sleeps like this quite often and it looks soooo uncomfortable!!!

No Annabelle doesn't sleep like that. That is her "rub my belly please" position. Winter sleep position is curled up in a little ball and summer position is all stretched out on her belly.

When she's on her belly, does she have her back legs out like a frog?  There used to be so many pictures on here of doodles doing that and mine never did, but it looks so cute!!!!

No, she has her legs kind of tucked under when she is on her tummy.  Sometimes she stretches more than others. Maybe I will get a picture later after dinner.

Really?  And here I thought I had an individual dood! - lol!  She used to sleep with all of her legs up in the air and now it's like this!  So funny!

One of my doodles (Beau) sleeps just like this sometimes!  I would think it would take some effort to hold it up like that.   Maybe they are trying to cool down their tummy!  LOL

The first time I noticed it, I was watching "The Batchelor" so DH was making a lot of jokes about it (like "even Myla can't take anymore of this") but now it seems to be her "nap of choice"!

Charlie pretty much always sleeps on his back, Ned sometimes, and Clancy rarely. Go figure!

[Judy, Meg & Polly Wolly Doodle]

Polly sleeps like that and then twists the top of her body off to one side.  Meg sometimes sleeps on her back but most often on her side.

My dood slept on his back up to age 2. He slept behind a chair. He eventually outgrew it.
