Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hello!
You might know that we are looking to add another goldendoodle to the family!!! I tried to look for a good breeder near me, but some I liked, then there was something I didn't like..... I would love to go to the breeder we got Bella, but they are in fl (we used to live there). We want to see all the options near us before we go to fl.
We are looking for a multi-gen (goldendoodle x goldendoodle, preferably not an f1b multi-gen) We live in Maryland, and willing to drive 5-7 hours (each way).
Thank you!!!

I only look at the breeders that health test, and not have extremely low prices. One of the first things I look at is the health warranties.I don't even look at the breeders who post in the broker sites anymore!
Smart. That is the way to go in selecting a breeder. As my husband says, all dogs are expensive, one way or another.
After my first discussion I posted, I have never looked in PA. again!
I agree to save your money and go with a good reputable breeder. With a reputable breeder you will put down a deposit for a puppy that probably isn't even conceived yet. Then wait another 8 or 9 months until they are born and old enough you can take him/her home. I love Annabelle, and she is a great dog now. It took months of hard work and money to get her to the place she is now. Her puppyhood was not easy. She was stubborn and had an attitude, difficult to train.I know all puppies use their mouths to explore their world, but she drew blood every day from her biting me. There were times she bared her teeth and tried to be mean to me. I don't know if it was from bad breeding, or the fact that she is 3/4 mini poodle, and they do have a reputation. Anyway, if I were to get another puppy from a breeder, I know who I would go with. But I think you get what you pay for. With Annabelle's breeder, all correspondence stopped when I walked out the door with the puppy. I thought she might like updates and photos of Annabelle, but apparently not.
Hello Everybody!
I have found a good(so far:) breeder near me! I really like them, and hope they can be our breeder! But just to make sure, we are going to visit them. They health test, and only breed Labradoodles and Goldendoodles:)
That's great! Wishing you good luck! (BTW there are a some good ALD breeders in PA but PA hasn't done enough IMO to shut down the puppy mills and some of the questionable kennels that breed whatever is popular :(
Thanks Cheryl! I wish they did more too:(
GREAT! Best wishes for your next family member. I am very excited for you.
Awww! Thanks Nancy! I will let you all know what happens! :)
I look forward to it.
Willing to fly? I have a great breeder of Goldendoodles but she is in WA. I flew up to pick up my puppy from her, and it is very easy to do. Fly in, rent a car, or meet her at the airport, and fly home.
The puppy is in the cabin with you under the seat in front of you.
I was originally going to fly to fl, but maybe I could look at your breeder?? (hmmmm....) I was trying to find the website, but I don't think I was looking at the right one. Could you pm me the link? Thanks for the suggestion!!
