Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This is for photos you are thinking of submitting for the Calendar and that you would like to show us. If you want more detailed critiques and/or editing help I have started another discussion for that. I know there will be overlap and possibly a mish mash but we can handle that. Don't forget to check the guidelines.

I'm stating early because the calendar submissions need to be in by 9/22. seems like the submission period gets shorter every year.
Remember that vertical shots only go on the multiple doodles per page calendar. If you want a chance at a full page you need horizontal shots.Tags:
Wow.....submit this one too. Just take out the wording. I love it!!
You are too nice, thank you. I'll gather the possible pics this weekend an re-evaluate.
I agree with Laurie. I'd submit.
You get the greatest poses, Jarka.
Love it. I don't have a clue how to do studio shots :)
That is amazing! Where did you get the back round?
They are all fabulous.
The grass shots are great. I'm a fan of the wet look.
Are studio photos okay? I guess I don't think I've ever seen studio photos in the calendar. Seems like it might be a different style thing. Love the expression in the 3rd one. For the last one, I personally love the bow ties, but I would remove the wrinkles in the white background. My only nit. (I know it's not that easy to do, but if you take your time it's not so bad.)
I might edit the blue background in the 3rd one as well so it's not so splotchy looking.
I think we had one studio picture this year. It was January and I think the dog's name was Milo. Nancy, You have great eyes!
Studio aka our messy basement, LOL. I've been trying to learn studio photography for a while and still can't figure it out. I'm having a hard time with the background shadows and blothciness. I tried working on it in photoshop and it's a pain. I might have a better version of the white pic at home (this one was on my work computer), so I will play with it some more over the weekend. Thanks!
I've been practicing with studio lights as well. The hardest part is the floor area. I've strategically decided to crop that out whenever possible.
I like them all. I really like #2 because it shows 'real' dogs. I really like the 'studio' pose, but would prefer it with a background. I can just picture number 4 in February! I like the variety in each of these.
