Need a Goldendoodle Breeder in New York or surrounding areas

Hi,

Can anyone recommend any breeders ...Some of them i am finding out do not do the health testing.  I will not purchase one without the parents health testing results....I looked into beyond bliss but such waiting lists..Please help!

Hi Christine, on this forum. People are not allowed to publically recommend a breeder. It goes against the rules. If you do a search on here and search what to look for in a breeder, you will find amazing information....

You are right, you don't want a breeder that doesn't do genetic health testing on the parents after they turn two or one that doesn't give a health guarantee, however, there are a lot of other things you do what in a breeder, if you scroll down a few discussions you will find a discussion of a person asking questions...

If you find specific breeders you have questions about, you can ask here and people, can answer you privately.

At the end of the article there are links to breeder lists to check.  Here's how I would do it.

1) go through each list and make note of who is 'near enough' to you to consider by distance alone.
2) then look at each breeder's site to see if they have the TYPE of doodle you are considering in the first place (but don't narrow your ideal doodle down by too many criteria like color)
3) then see if they have a litter coming up within a reasonable time line.
4) narrow it down to a handful of breeders and write to the breeder or ask on here.  You'll want to know that they are willing to share health testing paperwork with you and find out what their policies are on all the things that are important to you.
5) if you have a top 3 list, ask on here for feedback on those three breeders.

I only know a labradoodle breeder, not golden doodles--but you would have to request me as a friend and send me a Private message if that is interesting to you--there is thorough health testing.

Thank you to all replies...I would just like some feedback of the people who got doodles from certain breeders.(how the dogs are, experience with the breeder).New York seems very limited..I read all the articles on this site and others with the recommended breeders and what to look for in a breeder..I live in long island and the closest breeder is 7 hours away...the two I was looking into was Beyondblissdoodles and Rivervalleydoodles...I understand people are not allowed to recommend on this site...Please answer directly..
