I am broken. My heart literally aches. Four months ago our Abby, who was only 8, was diagnosed with mast cell and lymphoma cancers. Last monday we said goodbye to her for the last time. I am so lost! I hurt. Did I say I am broken? She was so very loved and she is missed even more. I hear her sigh, I feel her watching me and turn and she's not there. I miss my sweet baby girl.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish you peace and healing for your broken heart.
Denise, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of sweet Abby.
I can feel your pain. It was eight years ago that we lost Cole' although he was almost 15 it was sudden and unexpected. The house was very empty and my DH and I were heart broken. Then Haley came into our lives and healed our broken hearts and filled our home with love.
I hope that time will ease your pain and you can live in peace with your memories of Abby.
Thoughts are with you. I've been there. I can tell you that it will get better. You will always miss her and one day I hope that when you think of her it will make you smile rather than bring tears to your eyes. It is a process and it is different for everyone. Hopefully one day you will be ready to bring a new doodle into your life. Although we weren't planning to do so quite so soon, little AnnaBelle came into our lives just two months after we lost our Sophie to lymphoma at 5. I can honestly tell you that she helped us through the grieving process. We even see little bits of Sophie in her and it always makes us smile when we think about her now. I tell people often that it is hard to be sad when there is a puppy in the house.
Denise ~ I am very sorry for the loss of your sweet Abby. I hope you find comfort in the beautiful memories of her time here with you.
I'm so very sorry, Denise. Hugs to you and your family.
I am so sorry for your loss! My thoughts and prayers are with you!
I am so very sorry to hear about Abby. I know you will always miss her but time will help.
Even though I am new here I understand your pain. I am so sorry you lost your dear friend and hope you find peace and comfort in sweet memories of her!
So sorry. Loss of a loved one is always hard. I'm sure you have many, many happy memories to fall back on. From my experiences I've always felt they were still there around me. When you are ready there is always another sweet dog ready for a good home ready to accept your love and care.
So sorry and my prayers are with you. Last March my beloved THUNDER passed away very suddenly at 10 yrs old from water around his heart. From vet to home it was only 8 hrs left in his life. I always wanted a doodle and At the end of March TURBO came into my life and the healing began. I still get teary thinking about my THUNDER but know he didn't suffer. Then 2 months ago my 16 yr old Chihuahua had to meet the rainbow bridge. Having TURBO in my life in-between the loss of my two best fur-friends has made a difference. The best healing and happiness comes from giving your heart to another fur friend. I have had TURBO now for 9 months and he has given me all the love and companionship to help me through the losses. Keep the faith and before you know it there will be a fur-baby that needs you and you him/her. Paws to you...Lorry and TURBO.
