We live in an area that is just as likely to get rain as snow when the forecast is bad.  Meg has a double coat that holds a lot of water and Polly not so much.  We have soggy doggy mats that I love and both girls are pretty good at staying there when I give the 'rug' order.  This summer I found another soggy doggy product that I love maybe more than the mats.

It has a pocket on both ends for your hands a quick rubdown pulls all the excess water right off of my girls and they don't have to stay in place.  We have leather furniture and this gives the girls their freedom back when the weather is ugly.  I love these.

I've looked at these and figured they would work well.  I've been thinking for after a bath.

Judy, do they really absorb much more moisture than a towel?

Sorry, been out running this morning.  These hold a ton of water, super absorbent.  I love the rugs but it takes a while for the girls to stay in place.  With this shammy they stop at the door and let me rub them down, Polly walks away dry and Meg, having a double coat,  is barely damp.  They are made to sort of form a pocket at each end for your hands.  I hang it on a hook to dry out in between uses.

Cori loves to find mud in the back yard, so needs frequent chin and foot baths - our Soggy Doggy "towel" really does absorb better than a towel.

This is good to know!

This comes at a perfect time for us since we are headed to Florida with our two doodles. We will be there for about a month with a good portion of it at the beach.  This will be easy to carry in the RV or truck. Thanks, I think I will give it a try.
