possible new puppy

Hi doodle bugs, I am considering a standard goldendoodle. I have been looking for a long time. I fell in love with this one pup from a responsible breeder , soooo cute! She has a very blocky face, she is an F! . would any of you have a doodle adult that had these same traits as a puppy? Pictures? I would rather a doodley looking dog, not sure if she will look like a retriever, but she is the cutest puppy!

Hi Anna ~ do you have a photo of the puppy you are considering.  All puppies are so cute in my opinion, but if you are looking specifically for a non-shedding doodle you may want to look for an F1B.  Not all F1 shed, but I have heard a many of them do.  When you get a chance be sure to check out the groups section on the main page and join as many as you like.  There is a group called "Where is the poodle in my doodle" which shows photos of lots of puppies many of which are F1.  Good luck in your puppy search.  Do your research before choosing especially if you have particular traits you are wanting in a puppy.

 Hi Linda!

I have read about the differences of F1-F1b and so on..I can look at tons of pictures, and if I see all  "F1's" they all look different. I agree, all cute!! I like the wavy coat, not straight. I don't mind very minor shedding, but not a lot. I know they all have different traits, even if they are all in the same generation. I have a picture, I will come back on here on my phone, I will see if I can figure it out. :)

If there are waves on the ears at a young age, chances are the coat will be wavy. But no guarantee.
