Help! My two multigenerational labradoodles, one of whom is 3 and the other is six months are still having diarrhea today. This is the second day. The older dog Simba has had multiple runny stools all day yesterday and this morning, and the younger dog Kenyon, threw up yesterday and still has diarrhea today. I didn't feed them yesterday, and they have not had food since then. So this is the second day without food. I am giving them small amounts of water at a time because I don't want to further irritate their systems, but I also don't want them to get dehydrated. What do you suggest? I think they could have gotten into the pepper salami, cheddar cheese, and Triscut crackers we had on the table as a supper bowl treat. Otherwise I can't imagine what they got into. We do have wild turkeys in the area that sometimes poop on the edges of our property, but they are not allowed outside off leash and we don't see how they could have eaten any.

Have they seen the vet? If not, they need to go...ASAP. Sounds like a stomach bug, but pepper salami and cheese could also bring on severe illness, including acute pancreatitis, which is fatal in more than half the cases.
Even with water, two days of diarrhea and vomiting + no food could cause dehydration, especially in the puppy. Please get them to the vet.
I totally agree on the need to get them to the Vet. What you describe sounds so much like the symptoms my mini ALD showed when he had Pancreatitis. He needed to be hospitalized in a Specialty clinic on IVs and meds...and closely monitored day and night.
Please let us know the result of the visit. I am going to worry until I hear.
Get to the vet. They obviously have the same thing wrong - either viral or they ingested the same 'bad' something. Dogs can become dehydrated (like people) which can be very serious.
You'll be in my thoughts, please let us know how you make out.
So glad to hear that they are on the mend.
