We're expecting... a new puppy!!

Hello DK family!  As you all know we lost our dear Cooper from cancer on Dec 21st, 2016. It's been very hard for all of us. We miss him so much.  

Four weeks ago, we decided to adopt this labradoodle pup from a breeder to be part of our family. I'm sure our home will be filled with lots of doodle fun and love again.  We'll be picking him up this weekend. We'll keep you all posted.

I'm so happy for you!  I followed the tragedy with Cooper and could commiserate.  I had lost my Lucky in August unexpectedly.  I kept looking at my doodle breeder's site and fell for a little blue merle ALD.  I thought it would be too soon, but she was ready to go at the end of October.  I have still had some grieving to do, but my little Zoey made it a bit easier.  I hope the same holds true for you!!

How exciting for you! I know from experience just how silent and lonely a house can be after a loved pet dies. Although you continue to grieve, nothing fills that void like a new puppy. You're so busy puppying that you almost forget to be sad!!
