Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
It is with a very heavy heart that I decided to explore this option for my two Doodles.
The topic of my contemplation is their re-homing.
Not only does it break my and my family's heart to resort to this extreme measure, but what about finding that right person(s) who would be willing to take on such a gargantuan responsibility?
Background to our story is such. Due to an unfortunate turn of life events, I lost my job and we are now going through a foreclosure process. Losing your home is something one can not describe in words or convey the emotions that overwhelm your thought process 24x7, making you unable to sleep.
But anyway, the problem is that we can not even find any rental properties in the area that allow large dogs, let alone two.
I am running out of options.
I will make every effort, whatever is available to normalize the housing situation so that we are in a position to keep our girls.
But for time being, I am exploring this last option. I need to know ahead of time because our dogs have been with us for 7 and 9 years, respectively and don't know any other life but together.
If there is a kind soul out there who is willing to take on two gentle, people dogs, I am willing to listen.
They are Katya and Manya - very well behaved and healthy.
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the info.
We are still fighting. Quitting is not an option.
Thanks. I am not giving up.
Thank you for the concern, Olga.
yes, we are Russian dissent.
I already got in touch with DRC. A very nice woman Karen & Jackdoodle replied that DRC is overwhelmed with the wait list of older dogs, so my hopes are minimal at best for DRC to come through.
Katya is 10 and Manya is 7 : (
Thank you, Olga.
We will try, though. :)
I am so sorry about your current situation and hoping for the best for all of you!!
