Perhaps she needs a different antibiotic.
I don't think anyone on-line can tell you what is causing this; there are other conditions that can cause frequent urination, but I think guessing and speculation about possible health issues is not a good idea.
Please try not to worry and wait until the test results come back. Hopefully they will point you to the right treatment. Hang in there. :)
Just curious but does she have an inverted vulva? Google "inverted vulva" if you're not sure what I mean. Dogs with an inverted vulva are prone to UTIs and should not be spayed until after at least one heat cycle. In some cases it is necessary to wait for a 2nd heat cycle for the vulva to position properly. Of course according the UC Davis study it is best to wait until 1 or 2 years of age before spaying anyway to prevent the irregular growth that has been implicated in hip dysplasia.
Hello.
So I'm guessing she is drinking all the time to be peeing that much?
I wonder if it has to do with her being so thirsty-->drinking so much; hence the peeing all the time....
I hope it all turns around sooner than later for you all...
Hehehe...
UW
again,
hope she is better soon like ASAP
I've heard that chicken broth (unsalted) can encourage a dog to drink more.
I hope the results of these new tests point you in the correct direction.
