Yes, Linda, glass goes well in the gardens.  I have been encouraging my son to make glass containers for ashes so we can put our pets cremated remains in these containers and then move them with us to our gardens wherever we go.  I buried my dogs ashes in California before we moved but wish we had them to add to our gardens here.  They lived their whole lives in California and I thought they should remain there.  My son is a glass blower in Seattle and knows Chihuly and his glass blowing school (Pilchuck) well.

Wonderful images, F. I saw a Chihuly exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art several years ago. Most of the ehibit was inside. I would love to see it in a garden setting.
Thanks Anne. Most of the exhibit was in the glasshouse, some among the plants. Some of the largest pieces were outside. I may put some more in a discussion but the rain certainly influenced the ability to take photos.

Beautiful

Thanks.

These are beautiful, F.  I love the idea of having these in a garden setting.

Thanks. Some were very plant-like.

Those bowls are gorgeous!!

Love the colors!

My neighbor across the road shot this image Friday night with her iphone and shared it with me.  There are two small white "containers" between the double rainbow near the horizon line.  They are my house (container to live in) and my garage (container for cars and other stuff).  (Our houses are approximately 1/2 mile apart.)

The rain shower that produced this rainbow traveled North; built in intensity and spawned a tornado which touched down near a small town about 18 miles from me.

Beautiful.

I thought she got a great shot with her iphone.
