Will Hamilton "Doodle out" ?

Hi there, I am new here so forgive me if this is posted in the wrong place. Hamilton is 10 weeks old today and we are wondering if he will look more like a doodle than retriever as he gets older. His mom is an F1B apricot doodle and his dad is purebred golden retriever. His hair is definitely changing, especially around his back legs. I'm including one picture of him when he was 6 weeks as well.  Regardless of what he does look like, we absolutely adore him. Just curious what you guys think!

Oh my Doodle! Hamilton is adorable! And I love his name! Its kind of hard to tell at this stage but I do see some fluff on his face. In between the eyes is a big indicator. He also has a fluffy muzzle so he very well could become very "Doodly".  I have one who looks like a tiny retriever and she has no fluff on her face at all.

I tend to agree with Lori.   It is a tough call, but I'm leaning towards doodly!  That nose, black as coal, whew.  Adorable.

Such a sweetie! He looks like he will be a bit more on the retriever side to me, but he is just too cute for words. I want to snuggle him! And you just never can really tell with these guys -- our buddy is only 16 weeks and I swear his coat has looked about 14 different ways!

I would guess he would be more retriever looking.

When you cross an F1B with a pure retriever it's 3/4 retriever.

My Jake is an F1B (Mom) and a standard poodle (Dad).

He looked very retriever ish when we picked him up at 9 weeks, now he's very doodley.

Jake is sooo cute! I see some similarities between his 9 week picture and Hamilton but am thinking my guy will be a bit more retriever too!

All I have to say is....that is one handsome doodle!!!! Congratulations! I don't know if he will doodle out, but he will be a stunner either way. I have an open faced doodle and couldn't be prouder ;)
