2018 Calendar potential submissions

Looking for some expert eyes to help weed out photos that are not worthy for submission to the 2018 Calendar.  Please critique and I welcome any suggestions to improve through lighting, cropping, etc.  So, I am hearing through the "grapevine" that some members are willing to help with editing.  They do such a great job and are giving of their time and expertise...so take advantage if you need them.Thank you for your patience and your opinion is valued.

Linda - I like #1 & #4 (such a happy face) but the shadows can be lightened up.  I can't help with the photos but I can critique! :-)  Picco picks shade over sun every time and I always get the shade in my photos too.  Jewel is very cute and her colors are identical to Picco's

It is vital that you shoot at the highest quality and biggest file size your camera has so that you have plenty of pixels. Be sure to read all the requirements thoroughly as all photos which do not meet the requirements will be rejected no matter how cute they are!

So exciting that the calendar season is underway. Can't wait to see everyone's submissions.

Here is one I'm thinking about. I was a bit slow on the shutter speed. Is it bothersome that there is motion blur?
Be honest, I have tons of other photos.
