What a great romp today and every doodle was absolutely adorable in their costumes.
Poor Sassy though, the girl is getting old-er! Came home and for the first time EVER she laid down and didn't budge for hours but momma bear is very concerned. When I called her for dinner I heard a loud yelp and she came limping into the kitchen! Can't tell where she injured herself or if it's just sore muscles? I poked and moved all her leg joints and she didn't flinch but she definitely has a pronounced limp? She ate and went straight back to her bed, hoping she fells better by morning.
Can't wait to see Nancy's pictures, I only got a few and they're pretty dark. :(`
All Sassy does is run and fetch, run and fetch, run and fetch. She HAS to be tired! :-}
Jolene, Could be Sassy twisted something when she got up. How is she tonight?
I'm wondering if when she was running she found a hole and tripped in it?? Broke my heart and I knew she was hurting when she joined me on the couch and cuddled and whimpered for three hours! I rubbed and massaged her leg/shoulder the whole time. She's doing much better this morning, still has a slight limp but isn't whimpering and/or yelping like she was the first night. Tore out the door last night when Josie announced the opossum on our fence! Had to hose the little guy on so the girls would stop barking! I think the two of us will have to approach physical activities slow and steady since we've been less active the past several years!
Our costumed Doodles was desert for the eyes...so, so sweet! We had a Peacock, Robin and Batman, Doctor, Mama-Papa & baby bears, Xmas party girl, Bat, , "Blue Dinosaur? (someone help me here)", Wonder woman, Red Bong toy and a Viking. I want to thank all our gentleman judges that voted and picked the winners. It was so close I had to get another judge to break the three way tie. I should of had more then 2 prizes because we had so many true winners. Our winners were Ro's 'Enzo as a Peacock' and Jolene's 'Sassy as Robin' (Josie was Batman). Our little Doctor, Helga's 3 bears and Xmas party girl would have gotten prizes if I had brought more. Next year I will know better!
Please take time to check out Nancy's wonderful photo's and see if you could have picked out the winner from all the cute costumed doodles we had.
Ro and Jolene are this year's Owners of the best dressed Doodle.
