If it seems not attached to the body you can probably wait a couple of weeks. If it seems attached to the body, go right away. Doodles do tend to get small benign cysts. Only a needle biopsy can tell for sure.
I would personally go immediately, but I am a worrier.
Thank you for your response! It does seem like it’s attached so we’re going to make an appointment for this week and bring him in just to be safe. He’s never had anything like this before so would rather know for sure what it is.

Did you find out what the bump was? My doodle has one too...but I haven't worried...we go to the Vet in April for their check up.
Sorry for not updating sooner! We brought him last week and the vet wasn’t concerned about it at all and said it should go away on it’s own. He said to keep an eye on it over the next 1-2 months and come back if it grew larger/changed at all....but he said he was doubtful that’d be the case.
