Are these face furnishings?

Hi!

Teddy will be four months next week and he hasn’t really doodled our yet. His coat has always been on the straighter side, taking after the retriever more than the poodle. I started noticing his brows and mustache were growing out a bit, but I’m still not certain why his paws are so bare. Is he really a doodle?

Definite furnishings! Here's an example of my open faced doodle who lacks them! Teddy is a doll!

Aw thank you, I know what you mean! Our Hamilton's litter mate looks nothing like him and looks like what I thought he would - typical goldendoodle look. I couldn't be luckier because he is the sweetest dog I've ever known. Teddy will definitely look like a doodle!

OMD he is adorable! My girl has "bare paws" also but she doesn't have any facial furnishings.

Thank you! THat's what's throwing me off. I guess maybe he'll be a late bloomer in the paws department?

Definitely a scruffmonster in the making :)  Our open faced doodle Luna has never had scruff like that.

Just look at the adorable white tip on Teddy's tail! Love it!  Teddy is just going to have a more scruffy look than some doodles, but most definitely doodley.
