Thanks, Nancy.

This product is made in New Zealand and has limited distribution here in the U.S.

That’s good to know. I knew I had never heard of it.

Is there a list of food or treat recalls anyplace here with food name and date of recall to access without going thru all these posts?

You can do a search if you are looking for recalls of a specific brand or formula. Just click "Back to The Food Group Discussions" up at the top of the page, and you will get a page with a list of discussions and a Search box at the top. Type in the name and you'll get links to any mention of that brand or food.

What is up with the elevated levels of vitamin D in the foods???? This is the same exact issue as the Sunshine Mills recalls I posed right above your post.

It makes me wonder. Are they all just manufactured at the same place and they slap on different names? That seems to be what's going on with the vegetable recalls. Lots of veggies that came from the same place. We're pretty sure that the higher quality foods are made somewhere different, aren't we?

Yes. That's one reason none of these foods are on our recommended list. Ingredients all purchased through the same food brokers from the same foreign sources, manufactured in the same places, and private labels slapped on.
Sourcing is one of my main priorities when recommending any brand.

Too much Vitamin D is TOXIC.
