Both Roo and Tigger earned their CGC certificates and I would like Murphy to earn hers too.  But now you have to register you dog ( even non "purebred") with the AKC to get your CGC.  I need a Fancy name for Murphy.  Her kennel is Nobel Vestal in Indiana so my husband came up with Noble Vestal's Indiana Murphy - a play on the character Indiana Jones.  I am not keen on that one, but cannot do better myself.

You do not have to include the breeder's name, but she is an awesome long time breeder of ALDs so I sort of want to use it.

All suggestions appreciated.  I need to get this done.  I am in my second obedience class with her as well as a rally(?) class and a tricks class.  Even though I probably will not pursue the titles in these areas, all the classes are all fun and keep me honest at practicing.

Noble Murphy of Vestal

Thanks!

I hope you figure a great Name for your great girl!

Noble's Indiana Murphy.  I like the Indiana part. :-} I know you are limited to a certain number of letters so wonder of putting the entire breeder name might put it over the limit.   What about something with Murphy's Law?

I just did this, and if I recall correctly it's 36 letters including spaces. I didn't think that was too bad. For an extra 10 dollars you can go up to 50.

What did you end up choosing for our fancy Maggie?

Her fancy pants name is I Still Believe In Magic. I think it's perfect. Maggie brought the magic back into my life. I was toying with something to the effect of Ava Sent Believe In Magic, but it made me cry every time I thought about it so I didn't do it.

love this

Hooray.  That was actually my hubby's suggestion.....

Tell him thank you! It was an excellent suggestion and it totally fit!

He was thrilled that you liked his idea.
