tear stains

Hi everyone and anyone,

Do light colored labradoodles get tear stains in their faces? I had a bichon fries and they are notorious for tear stains just as the maltese breeds are.

My labradoodle had a closed tear duct in one eye and a micro tear duct  in the other.  This led to tear staining because the tears couldn't drain properly.  Once she had surgery to open the tear ducts, the staining stopped.  She is a light colored, very curly dog.
