My Oliver is around 7 mos. my mild-mannered pup is suddenly a humping machine. He’s also a touch naughty. He’s grabbed some stuff in the kitchen, is starting to bark over all kinds of stuff and reverted a bit on his house training. He’s very well trained and obedient in general. Please tell me this is a stage?!

Oh yes, it's a stage. The teenager stage, and it's tough. Time to ramp up the training and rules enforcement.
Depending on where you live, it may also be partly boredom due to wintertime "cabin fever", i.e. not being able to get as much outdoor exercise and running. I'm going through that now with my 13 month old.
I feel your pain! Murphy is 15 months and as full of herself as 15 year old boy. She is still darling, awesome on a leash most of the time. But....she is feeling her oats. Too much rain, too much energy and just that age. I always feel that the first year is difficult with potting training etc, but years two and three make year one look like a breeze. After three years old, dogs are no more perfect than people, but they do mellow out some. Murphy still goes back on her leash beside me even at 15 months when she is "just over the top" or I am worn down...
Lots of fetch, doodle romps, walks and continued once a week training classes and practice on the walks keep her thinking and make her bearable most of the time. Stay strong!
Oh my gosh I am going through the same thing at 15 months!! I am so upset. Roxy was an angel and now just.... I know all this rain has to have something to do with it but goodness she is wearing me thin.

Say it isn't so! I was just thinking Dinah had "grown up" at 14 months. She reminds me to play EVERY DAY starting at 9 and again at 4. We're lucky in that my condominium has utility rooms where we can stay out of the rain and MUD and play ball. The downside is she drags me there when ever we leave the house....no question where Her priorities lay. Have you seen this article on dog development?
