Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Our wonderful goldendoodle Mater came into our lives after the painful loss of our yellow lab, Meg. She looked just like Marley and acted much the same (though less destructive) for nearly all of her 13 years. Then she was diagnosed with cancer. The last few years were a roller coaster of pain, for us and her. So when I happened across this wonderful project in support of curing canine cancer I thought it would be good to share.

"Two Dogs, 2000 Miles - a walk from Austin to Boston" is a wonderful effort many of us might want to support. Cancer takes far too many of our canine friends. Please visit the site and consider what you can do to help.

Hi Jane, we never get over the pain of the loss of our dearly beloved doggy companions but it certainly looks as if your new babies have helped ease the pain. My heart went out to you when I read your posting.

Take care and may your future be filled with lots of happiness
Wyn
Thanks Kathy for posting, I will check it out right now. I have lost a dog to cancer too and I like the idea to create awareness with that walk.
