Does your doodle know his or her own kind?

Does your doodle recognize other doodles?
At first I just thought this was a coincidence but it keeps happening. Stella just goes crazy for other doodles or other poodles and goldens as well. Not that she dislikes other dogs, with the exception on the time she was down right scared of the Briard dog that she meet (I mean who could blame a dog there). It's just that she gets super happy to see a doodle. So, I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed a difference when your doodle meets other doodles vs an unrelated breed.

My two I think have no clue what they look like. But I know other doodle owners who swear their doodles play better with other doodles. So I think there might be something to it...

We had a labradoodle meetup at a local dog park on Saturday. There were about 100 dogs at the park that day and the 8 doodles we had all seemed to play together the entire time. When we first got Steve we noticed another couple about our age walking a puppy as well. We both stopped and asked is that a "labradoodle" at the same time. They have been best buds ever since and play together a few times a week. If you don't leash Steve fast enough he will take himself on a walk to his friends house.

Steve is a doodle lover.... thats great. Now I know that Stella's not crazy. Well she still may be but at least she's not the only one.

Holly doesn't seem to recognize other Doodles but, she is attracted to Golden retrievers. Even when she was frightened by large dogs (a trait which we are glad has diminished) she would love Golden Retrievers. We believe that she recognizes her mom (Misty, a Golden Retriever) in these dogs.
On the other hand, since Holly lives with four Maltese, she just adores little dogs.

Holly's best big-dog buddy is Shadow, my daughter's female yellow Labrador. These two young dogs will play and play until they are both exhausted. The two girls really play rough and look like they are fighting but, never hurt each other. Even though she plays really rough with Shadow; Holly seems to know that she can't play rough with the little Maltese.
