My Parris thinks it is her job to be a canine towel. She waits outside the shower every day in hopes of being able to be a dry my legs!!! What a silly doodle.
It is interesting how each doodle assumed diffferent jobs. Do Lucy and Sophie also "inspect" anything new in their yard? Parris will "creep up" and stretch out to investigate any new object. It can be as simple as a new flower pot, but she is On it!!!

Whenever he's in the car, Halas thinks it's his job to bark at pedestrians that he sees on the street. He also has to growl at the bunnies that he sees in the courtyard of our condo.
His most important job is pulling all underwear out the laundry, whether clean or dirty. The key to a successful job performance is to chew the underwear up badly enough that I have to go buy new ones. So he's helping to support the economy.
Hershey has a number of jobs. She is our doorbell - she barks if somebody comes up onto our porch. In fact, we didn't realize for two months that our REAL doorbell was actually broken! We just thought we didn't hear it over Hershey's barking!
I'm sure we could put her to work shredding confidential documents. So far, she's an excellent tissue, napkin, and paper towel shredder!
Hershey also does a good job of being an alarm clock. As soon as she hears one of us stir in the morning, she comes to the side of the bed and jingles her collar. If I roll over and pat her on the head - it's like pressing the snooze button!! She'll usually give me about ten more minutes before she REALLY needs me to get up...
Hi Erin,
I feel your pain about the shredders!! We cannot leave the toilet paper on the holders because Parris will "roll" our bathroom.

Neither can we! I think our guests think we are lazy because our toilet paper is always sitting on the counter. Some of them will think they are being nice and go ahead and put it on for us and sure enough Fenway will come in and have it strewn from one end of the bathroom to the other! We have now started explaining to guests why it's not on the roll.
Skeet gets the paper in the mornings. We get 2 papers so he brings in the first paper for a treat then waits for the
command to "well go get the other one?" He tears out of the house and brings in the other one for another treat and his
breakfast. Sometimes if one paper is late arriving and not on the driveway he gets our neighbors paper instead.
Hi Everyone,
You guys have made my day. I knew there would be funny stories but these are great. I am amazed at what our doodles can do!!
