Loving Safe Boarding in Houston

I'm desperately trying to find somewhere to board Bentley. I've tried a few resorts - and I use the term loosely, because I just couldn't leave him in some of these places. They're like prisons. I was recommended Miss Daisy's but she wouldn't take him because he was considered a big puppy. Anyone found the ideal solution for their babies? I'm desperate.

We have not tried to leave our furry kiddo yet. I'm sure I'd be in the same pickle as you. A pet sitter is one solution but gee, unless they spend a fair amount of time that is hard. These dogs are so darn social. I'll get back with you on this - thinking, thinking.

Not sure if they have this where u live, but I have a girl that comes and stays in our house while we are away. She sleeps over with my boy, and then she goes about her day, but comes back 2 x during the day to walk him, she gives him supper and stays the night. I pay $30.00 a day...Maybe your vet might be able to help u find someone. I find it is much less stressful on my boy, he is in his home enviorment, and she came and spent time with him before the 1st time we left her with him, he really likes her. Of course I checked her references, and spoke with people that use her all the time. she is booked up months in advance, so as soon as I know when I am going, I call her. I take Suzee to 20th street groomers. Laura and her husband are the owners and they love dogs. She offers doggy dag care also. also there is the Houston dog Ranch.
