This story will truly make you sick, and I am sorry to ruin your day by putting it here in our wonderful community. I thought it might be important for some of our breeders to know about, this may have been one of theirs. (I sure hope not.)
Don't read it if you don't want to cry.

That is disgusting!! Wonder how many times he had to face such torture in the three years he lived :((( Well, you are right he is in a better place and probably saved his human kids from further abuse........a true angle!!
This is absolutely horrible!
This is just awful. I've never understood why a person who would treat an animal like this would even bother to get an animal in the first place. I hope the kids realize how horrible this was, and they don't continue their father's pattern of abuse.
OMG, why do people do things like this I always wonder....Those poor kids will always have that image of that for the rest of their lives....The dog...I just have to cry.
So an innocent doodle died because he couldnt' hold it for 8 hours and the kids saw it all!!! I can not understand what goes through a person's mind when they commit such an atrocity. This man should fry or better yet make him hold it for 8 hours and then kick the sh*t out of him. Sorry I don't want to offend anyone, but it is just how I feel.... I just don't get it. I have gotten frustrated with my doodle, with my kids and my husband for that matter, but to do bodily harm or kill someone is beyond my comprehension.
His wife was wise to get away for a man like that. Imagine what went on day after day living with him....
There is a very strong correlation between animal abuser and people who committ homicide, you know?
There are so many tragedies here. Poor Zorro who was kicked to death by someone he loved & trusted. The young children who not only lost their friend but watched their father, someone they should feel safe around, savagely attack & kill another family member/their dog. To kick a pet to death involves more than just spur of the moment anger. This is likely someone who had anger control issues at baseline & makes me worry about what type of example for acceptable behavior and/or potential for abuse was occurring at home prior to the divorce proceedings. I hope that karma truly does exist so that Zorro will be rewarded & get the love & trust that he deserves in the next life.

This makes me very sad but thanks for sharing. You can't really understand how good you have it until you see other people's tragedies. Thanks Karen.
Thank you, Cam...you have reminded us that we should all count our blessings. And hug our doodles.
