Anyone interested in a Minnesota romp??

I found a dog park in Coon Rapids, it is fenced, and gated from what I can tell. Is anyone interested? If so, I can go check it out. It is FREE , from dusk til dawn, and is off the beaten path by the looks of it. Looks like a fairly large area too. Here is their website - with a couple of pictures:

I went and checked it out today - it is pretty big - and totally fenced and double gated. There are some picnic tables there and some benches. Once the ice melts tho it may be messy for a bit, but maybe not.
It would be a fun day i think...

Elm Greek does have biffy's and is fully fenced and gated, there is a pond. St. Michaels is open and fenced but not gated and runs along the river. Someone mentioned playing together, and my then 4mo puppy hangs with the other dogs and stays close. I do leash her as we approch the parking area, it's a get park, heading that way this thursday for the weekend. My girls live in Maple Grove and Albertville. Have a great day!!! It is almost 70!! here and we are on our way for a wallk in the woods!!

Ok, I checked out Elm Creek this weekend. A bit muddy to say the least. I think it will be very nice for a romp when things dry out a bit. Not only did my dogs need a bath, but so did my boys as well as my vehicle.

HELLO EVERYONE!

I am excited for the ROMP! I am glad so many people have responded to my post from this winter, and Denise's post this spring trying to get everyone motivated for our ROMP!!.. now that the snow is gone- lets get this thing rolling! Denise and I had fun checking out a dog park in Coon Rapids. Hopefully we will check out a couple more people haven't posted on yet on Friday and finalize our location.. sounds like you guys have visited a ton of great places!!

Lets decide on some dates!!

Post your 1st choice and 2nd choice preference. Some of you live a ways away, so lets try and figure out what would work best for everyone for the first get together. I am hoping we can do this on monthly or an every other month basis!!

Weekends of April 18th & 19th, May 2nd & 3rd, May 16th & 17th
Saturday or Sunday or both?

April 18th - 19th won't work for me - it's prom weekend on Saturday - I need to be here for my daughter... any of the others will work tho.
