Roll call ~ Joy, Zeke, Ayce, Tannor, Kodi, Sandy, Bisbee, Hershey, Ollie and Ami

Please share what you think your littermates might want to know about their doodles siblings. This also helps me a great deal in selecting future breeding mates. Examples might be weight, height (can be aproximate), coloring changes, coat notes ~ did you make it through the transitioning coats okay? Food currently on, etc...

Trinity's Jazz Man Zeke Cream Wool Coat, non-shedding
23" tall
about 50#

Zeke has the sweetest temperament, is very intuitive and a little on the stubborn side ( must because he's male ) He has done very well in obedience classes but it seems he will always challenge to be out front while walking. He is overall a quiet, serious dog who every now and then lets go and acts a little wild. Everyone who meets him thinks he is very handsome even after he had to be shaved. He is growing out nicely, in fact I'd like to keep his body about this length for the summer but I want his head to fill out more to look more doodle than lab. My plans for him is to do therapy work in the near future. He is very close to testing for Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International. Zeke loves to meet people of all ages, colors and sizes. He is very gentle with children and will let them touch him anywhere. I think he will make a great therapy dog.

We are currently feeding a variety of kibble-Taste of the Wild (all flavors), Origen & Canidae. He seems to do well with them all but his favorites are the occasional goodies added to meals such as-pumpkin, yogourt, carrots, chicken broth, boiled chicken, canned salmon, scrambled eggs & cheese.

Zeke is an athletic guy who loves to run all out. Zoomies are his best event if there was a doodle olympics. He also loves walking and running in our nearby park. He's not much for ball playing ourside, that's his favorite inside sport. I'm not sure if he is a water lover or not as he has not had the opportunity to get in anywhere deep enough to swim, maybe this summer we can give this a shot.

Just like our human children, he can be the course of extreme pride or frustration depending on the moment but he is always a joy! The decision to add Zeke to our family was definately the right one, we totally adore him and he us. (it shows in his beautiful brown eyes)
Ollie is a big boy at 50 lbs. He has a very sweet personality, but is very much a mama's boy. He never, ever leaves my side. He is very much a snuggler, and loves to sit next to me on the couch or wherever. He also loves to ride in the car anywhere, which is a good thing since we have a second home at the Cape which is a 3 hr. drive. He's tough to walk, and we've had to resort to using the gentle leader. He is unbelievably social, both with people and other dogs. He has a tremendous amount of energy, and loves nothing more than to go to the beach and run with other dogs. He has run into the water, but as of yet I call him back from actually going in to swim since it's still cold and he'd be a mess. He's wonderful about listening, and almost always comes when I call him. Sometimes he gets a little over excited, and starts biting us. We can usually distract him by getting him to pick up a stuffed animal. He loves his stuffed animals, and usually has something with him, often even to take out to go "potty". We are pretty boring with food. I probably need to vary it reading the other blogs. We use California Natural Kibble- Herring and Sweet Potato formula. My vet said a fish diet is great. I also use Dr. Bob Goldstein's daily Health Nuggets for dogs (vitamin supplements) and natural treats. He is such a great companion, a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. I do have to keep him groomed pretty often or he gets unmanageable, it should be every 5-6 wks. I guess that's all!

Trinity's Samuel Bisbee:
Wt ~ 44.2 lbs
Ht~ 20"
Tumble weed shedding --- kinda like the gremlins, little black tuffs
Black wool coat -- dread locks-- in coat transition (yikes)
Food -- Kibble EVO small bites mixed with ACANA (this time fish, last time Prarie)--free feed small amount during the day and add small amount of canned at evening meal California Natural or EVO. We might add cooked chicken, beef or brown rice
Treats --- Zukes- beef, lamb or salmon...loves them all; Evangers jerky, Platos treats...yogurt and more
Bisbee loves to play catch, retrieve, shake paws, watch orphan cats outside, chase inside cats, go for walks in early am (gentle leader), take rides (loves the ride) do errands with B, visit P-Mart, go to "school" and see his friends, visit Lake Lilly, go to the dog beach, cuddle with mom, bark at the paperboy, bring each and every toy into the livingroom where the action is, counter surf (we can't seem to break this one), give kisses, sleep in the shower ....I could go on and on, but will spare you. He is a love and has stolen our hearts .... We are in absolute love with him. He has a wonderful temperment, sweet and cuddly...As everyone knows he passed his CGC (so proud). At times, even with training, he can be a bit of a wild child ... so we are thinking of agility, not sure, but would be a good way to spend some of that energy (wish we could transfer some...)
Kodi is 39 lbs. Not sure of his height (do we measure to the shoulder? Or the head?) He doesn't shed. He doesn't really smell, either. HIs coat looks the same as Joys (in fact, they look very much alike). but even with all of the curls, his hair is very manageable. He has a bit of gray in his tail (not patches, just stray hairs) and has reddish tone and golden highlights around his mouth. He is eating wellness WellBars for a snack. We feed him Canidea all dog formula and also mix in the Wellness 95% Chicken. He gets some yogurt, carrots, boiled chicken and cheese occasionally. He's such a good boy!
