I'm getting known a the little asian lady with the goofy dog as we go for walks 3 times a day. Oski is such a goofy noodle--he'll be walking along & then literally throw himself down on the grass & play "dead dog" while grinning at me. Then he'll pick up a stick with lots of branches sticking out everywhere so he looks like the Dunsinane forest coming for Macbeth! It's like he's decided that they walk needs some more excitement.... What crazy stuff does your doodle do?
It is sooo comforting to know - I do not have a Crazy Doodle! Daisy does all the funny things mentioned here and I have another for you! When Daisy is greeting people, she likes to barrel between your legs & stand so you can scratch her hind quarters! I feel sorry for people who have no clue what sh'e doing! I have to explain and then if they don't obey - she just turns and looks at me as if to say - "Didn't you explain the procedure, Momma? "
Gracie also loves to go between your legs. First thing in the morning when we get out of bed, she has to go through your legs around, back through, around, back through, at least four or five times - to me and my wife.
She also loves to suddenly lay down, roll onto her back and wiggle like a fish, snorting, and preferably chewing on her tennis ball or a stick.
Last summer my husband and I were taking a walk with Louie through a quaint village, my husband decided he wanted to have a look in the little scottish store so Louie and I waited outside patiently. Suddenly out of trhe corner of his eye Louie noticed what was standing beside him, and in horror starting barking at it like I have never heard him bark before, to my amazment and onlookers amusment, he was barking at a statue of a small Scottish woman holding a sign!! he was terified of her lol.
No on other than me saw this one but in NJ Samantha did her zoomies in the snow, then buried her head and then ate the snow. Guess she didn't realize that you shouldn't do that with sand! I laughed so hard she thought I was crying and gave me a big doodle hug!! I had to clean sand from her impacting her nose. I guess some got in there because she 'cried' sand for a hour after. Poor Doodle!!
When we walk and Sophie sees people, she stands up and uses the leash to hold her up while she bounces/hops towards the person. Everyone thinks her behavior is too funny - which it is! Discipline just goes out the window and I can't help laughing and smiling at my goofy doodle.
Oski was in excellent form yesterday on our walk. He threw himself down on this lawn where this poor man was trying to mow (the guy was on the opposite end of the lawn) & then rolled around onto his back kicking his legs straight up in the air like he was doing air water ballet! The poor man was trying to push his mower as slowly as possible while I'm cajoling Oski to get up. Another person was halfway down the block & laughing his butt off at my crazed muppet!
In the winter when the sandy side of the dog park is open, Elmo will throw himself down in the sand and crawl along, waving his tail high in the air till people notice him. I overheard one lady say to her friend, "Sure glad I don't have to give him a bath when he gets home!"
