Are there any out there? My doodle loves her soft toys, but (disembowels) them within hours. Of course I pick up the stuffing and squeakers right away so she doesn't eat them. She is now carrying around and old (once stuffed) rag that used to be a cute little frog. She loves it though. Are there any stuffed hardy toys that anyone can recommend? Thank you Deanna and Mango
I bought rubber, thinking it might last a while longer than the stuffed.....Fenway had it in shredded rubber pieces within the day, he's a dang MONSTAH I tell ya! =) But SO dang cute!
Fenway...MONSTAH. Did you say that on purpose? If so, I get it. Just thought I'd let you know in case there are no other sports fans in this discussion. If you didn't say it on purpose, well, then, good unintended humor.
Deanna,
Samantha has her 'blankie' named Moo. Moo is an unstuffed plush animal. If her DD didn't use it as a tug toy they would have lasted a lot longer. The animals have squeakers in each hoof and the head has some stuffing and a squeaker. I would try one of these. They are not indestructible but since they only have stuffing in the head, you have a better shot of it not being destroyed quite as fast.
Oh, I always have a new Moo on hand and do not throw them out. The ugly ones are the ones she is allowed to play with outside.
Let me know if you get them.
I don't think I have one, but I'll take one and get it posted. I think the one I found is a little different than the one in the link you posted, but it's pretty similar - stuffing in the head, squeakers in the feet.
This relates to a different discussion, but will she go in her crate if Moo is in there? It's funny that there's an Office Moo. Office Moo should have to wear a tie, or at least some khakis. Or maybe a pocket protector.
