Yes! Since the day we brought Wrigley home her favorite nap spot has been on our bathroom floor. She'll settle for the kitchen, but her first choice is always the bathroom floor. She loves to sleep in the spread eagle/frog position on the cold floor too.
Luca has loved sleeping next to the toilet since he was a puppy. He did this even though it became a tight squeeze. He'd go in head first and rest his head on the water intake. Recently I got a new toilet with virtually no room behind it so he can't get his head in there. So now he rarely goes to his former favorite spot.
Harlow has slept on cold bathroom floor since the first night we brought her home. She also likes to play in the shower after I get out in the mornings. It is hilarious.
Our Gracie Doodle prefers the limestone entry hall. It is "L" shaped so one end of it looks into the kitchen where we are most of the time. It is right at the entry to the kitchen and then the hallway leading to the bedrooms. From here she has a constant eye on us and knows where we are. We call it her "baby spot"!! It is really cool on the stone and she runs hot most of the time. She loves to get on her back and put her paws up on the wall...actually it is her pads that are on the wall. I think she is trying to cool them off!!! When we are in the shower then she will come in and do the frog position but on her tummy while she waits for us. This is a tile floor that is also cold to the touch.
I'm pretty sure if I were a dog this would be my preferred position on a nice cold floor. Duff like the bathroom floor, but usually only if he can see us in the other room. He's a momma's boy and likes to be close.
Yes!! He will also venture out to the wood floors in the hallway, but the tile in the bathroom is his favorite!! I think they just get really hot when it's so warm out!
Yankee sleeps on the cold tile in the upstairs bathroom when we're in bed. If I am in the basement, he goes to the cement part of the floor to sleep. I guess doodles are hot stuff.
