We'll be getting our puppy at the end of July. A chocolate girl LD. Her name will be Olive - my daughter's pick after we shot down "12", "Kate" (my sister's name), "Tebow" and strange names made up by my 4 year old. All 3 kids enjoyed coming up with names - lots of laughs.
LOL my friend let her son name his new puppy when he was four, a little black Pomchi...and his name is Doughnut-boy....lol a nickname from my friend is doughnut-hole though
We are naming our chocolate LB "Harper" with Louise as a middle name...Harper was decided by Zach, as "Ben Harper" is one of his favorite musicians. We aren't really sure where Louise came from, but think Harper Louise is the perfect name for our little blue-eyed pup.
We get her a week from Sunday! We've been so patient for the past month or so, but I have a feeling that these last 8 days will be torture! :)
I like who the breeders choose names with double meanings/play on words, sort of long, then pick a nick name that the dog goes by on a regular basis. Our Breeder is Manor Lake; so our puppy's name will officially be: Manor Lake's Sandi Peaches, but we'll call her "Sandi"! Actually... Her full name will be Sandra Snickerdoolde, LOL!
I'm so embarrassed! Not only did we change names, but puppy litters too since I wrote this post! Our NEW puppy name is Sable. Plain and simple, Sable is the French word for sand, and I think of dark colors when I hear it, and we're getting a chocolate doodle now, go figure, I guess it all worked out! BUT...........Her official name will be: "Manor Lake's Sable at Rolling Acres". Rolling Acres Farm is the name of my husbands' family's dairy farm, est. in 1840!
My 8 year old chose the name Max a long time ago. Our breeder gave them temporary names though and there is one that is sort of party colored which she named Star, my son wants to keep that name if we pick that one but if we pick the other one his name will be Max.
I keep messing up with my laptop! I'll start typing then everything disappears. I'm sure things I'm commenting on are turning up in the oddest places!! :)
Anyway... I like the name Bella-I wanted a sort of unique name-I told my best friend about it and she said that one of the characters in Twilight (the movie) was named Bella-which I'm probably the only person on earth hasn't seen-so may have to regroup. Still like the name tho!
Judi
I like Bella Judi. My princess was named Molly at birth. I have been following her growth via photos since that day. Just this past week it hit me, Teddi , that had to be her name, everything about it just seems to suit her. 3 more weeks before I travel to meet her, then bring her home December 12th to meet the family.
Debbie,
What a cute picture of your princess!!! Like my husband says, they tend to name themselves!
December will roll around before you know it!
Best Wishes!
Judi
