This pup is at a kill shelter in my hometown. No other information. I left email, etc but won't know anything until Monday.
opinions/estimate on its size.
UPDATE:
Well, that was an experiance. Not one of my favorites to go to the place like that. Dog 06/100 was not available today, " come back Wednesday." Whatever that means??? So no news here. :(
Been such a busy week in my household so it took me a few days on this update. He is gone. No longer listed and no other info. I had left a message with a rescue that might have more connections than just lone ol' me, and rechecked on him also. I'm so happy he is somewhere safe. At least that is what my heart thinks. Thanks to all.
If I am going to go get it out and foster, I'm looking for an additional crate, collar, etc and would like to be ready. In a hurry in case Tuesday would be his last day.
I thought by judging the background I could get your opinions. I truly have NO IDEA
Judging from the chain link behind him, he looks like a medium sized dog--and a doodle to boot! Hope you can help him find a home. Is that a chain and a padlock around his neck???
M doodle is 17" and 27 pounds and here is a picture of him in relation to a chain length fence. I can't wait to find out what this darling dog is, but I'll bet he is smaller like mine.
Good luck!
Oh Joanne!! What a CUTIE!! Spud would love a buddy!! Bless you for saving this one!!
What a great Father's Day gift for Roger!!! He looks medum sized to me, not a big guy!!
You might want to check thrift stores in your area, a lot of them have used crates. He looks to be around 45 to 50lbs. It's hard to say without knowing his age if he will grow anymore, could possibly be a pup about 7 to 9 months of age and could grow more. If I was getting a crate for this dog, I would go with at least this size 48L x 30W x 33H inches, or even a little larger for growth. I would also ? the shelter what is around this poor dogs neck, and why they didn't remove this to take his/her picture?
