Can anyone recommend a good groomer in Vancouver? I live in East Van. Cooper wont need to be groomed for a while as she is only 10 weeks old, but Im trying to decide if I should learn to groom her myself or put my trust in a groomer...

Who here grooms themselves? Can you recommend any grooming sets, Shampoos etc

thats a great question.my taylor is 6months old andhe's due for a grooming soon. I've been trimming around his eyes myself but i think in a couplemonths, i'd l ike to get him a teddy bear cut...hmm..i'm worried if i take him to just any random place, they'll cut him like a poodle!
Yeah thats what Im worried about too, though I have a while til Cooper will need a cut. Im thinking about trying it myself eek! Ive read lots of horror stories on DK. There is a groomer associated with out vets (near kingsway and knight)- but Im not sure if they have experience with doodles, or how much it will cost. Ive heard its likely to be $100 - $200 depending on size etc

This is a web store run by someone on DK. There is a grooming video (currently on sale) that I am planning on buying. From that I can hopefully work out the tools I need to groom myself. My breeder gave me a list of basic things, but there are so many options (eg lots of different scissors). She orders tools from renspets canada
