Scotlund Haisley from HSUS sent me these videos and photos..( videos are at the bottom) He is the Director of Emergency Services @ HSUS and was in charge of the raid. The Parti colored dog is "Liberty Bell" a Portuguese Water Dog pulled from AH....Pictured are Scotlund and Beau Archer of HSUS and various volunteers.

Thanks for posting these pics and videos so everyone can see the plight of the puppy mill dogs. It is so sad and I am glad they were able to save these beautiful dogs and give them a normal life!

I love the sign..."Boarding- Grooming- Breeding"! Imagine bringing your dog to such a place to have him groomed! Or boarded!
No matter how many times I see this stuff, it kills me every time.

I know...Sometimes when I look at Blake it's hard to believe that he came from that horrible place...and our 3 legged boy Finn who also came frrom AH and lost his leg there BTW is also an angel.....

Oh my!! I am glad you posted this Jacquie. We just don't have a clue until you can see. I pray that this is the turn around for them they deserve...my heart goes out to every single one of the dogs. I just want to pause the video to look into each dogs eyes and pray they very soon find that forever loving family that will give them a life of love, care, and companionship and no worries, evermore.

Hey Deb.....The majority of the dogs were adopted before they even had a chance to hit PetFinder . They only went to shelters and rescues that had actual resources in place, facilities to house them, provide vet care etc. and every one of these organizations had pre-approved adopters waiting for doodles and poodles thanks to their "Wish Lists".......So not one doodle or poodle or poodle mix from AH had to be placed in foster care or spend any extended period of time in a shelter......It was a well orchestrated seizure.....The plans were in place for months before and the HSUS actually had a grant from a private donor specifically gifted to them to organize the raid on AH....

Awww that is wonderful news for the dogs! Thanks for sharing it Jacquie...I hope for every organization trying to make a difference like this can be as strong and have the resources.... We all need to appreciate all that is involved, and not just blindly hope the help will always be there. Special "Thank you's" to all involved.

That's great. I knew they had rescues and shelters ready for all of them, but I didn't realize that they already had families lined up for them. That's great. A happy ending for those dogs. They deserve it after their tough start in life.
